Description of Event:
The event will provide information about preventative health services and programs that are available in the local community. Free health assessments and tobacco prevention and cessation information will be available. Representatives from the fitness industry will also be represented. In conjunction with the Health Fair, the Cabot Lion’s Club will offer a Kids Fun Run.

The Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is pleased to present the 9th Annual Clearing the Air in Communities of Color Conference. To address the disparities in minority populations as it relates to tobacco prevention and education specifically. The conference provides an opportunity for discussions on the latest policy changes and best practices related to tobacco prevention in Arkansas.  This year’s conference will have two session tracks this year: Track 1 Adult Advocates and Track 2 Youth Advocates.

The YOUTH Leadership Initiative will host the 10th Say Y.E.S. Leadership & Advocacy Training Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas This Training is for all Middle School and High School Youth leaders in tobacco prevention.

Coordinator Camp:  An opportunity for program coordinators currently working or preparing to work in the future with youth tobacco prevention. (In conjunction with the Say YES Leadership Conference)
