Help for Pregnant Women

Pregnant tobacco users are putting two lives at risk.  Quitting reduces the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), lowers risk of pre-term labor and low birth weight, and lessens the likelihood of congenital heart disease, allergies, asthma, infections, coughs and colds.  All the more reason why the Arkansas Tobacco Quitline offers specialized, one-to-one programs for pregnant women.

The Quitline, 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669), provides pregnant women 10 personalized sessions with a personal Quit Counselor who will help you choose your own quit date, and support you all the way to your due date and beyond.
